About Me

Kelly Dooley is a dancer and performer based in the New York, New Jersey area. She began dancing at the age of 4 and it has been the biggest part of her life ever since! Kelly has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Modern, Hip-Hop, Tap and Jazz. She grew up as a member of the competitive dance team at “Dancin’ in the Spotlight," where she regularly attended competitions and conventions. Kelly spent her summers training with the Radio City Rockettes at the Rockettes Summer Intensive in New York City, where she performed original Rockette choreography!

 

Kelly was offered a spot as a full-time ballet trainee at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City in 2014. She trained at Joffrey for the next 2 years, and it was here that she decided that she wanted to turn her passion into a career!

 

Kelly furthered her training in college and was accepted as a BFA dance major at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. In 2020 she graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. During her junior year she had the opportunity to study abroad in London, England, at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and got to experience the dance world from a brand new perspective!

 

During this past year Kelly has used her time to train extensively with Broadway Dance Center, by attending both the Fall and the Winter Online Training Programs. She recently recieved her Pure Barre Certification and currently teaches barre fitness at the Pure Barre Bridgewater location. Kelly is always looking forward to her next opportunity to dance, create, and perform!
